This is yet another Ilayaraja classic sung by KJ Yesudas and Chitra. After years, this tune still continues linger around and surprisingly I can still remember most of the lyrics. "I can write a thousand poems in the wind when you give me that one look. I can't stop thinking about you every day and I hug you with those thoughts". "The hand with the bangles created music when it moved gracefully just the way a new note creates music when sung. Your laughter reminds me of the sounds of an anklet; your neck reminds me of the long neck of the rare right handed conch. I lost my 'self', which has the tendency go give everything I have to others, to you, the beautiful peacock." It gets a little racier here and actually it is this stanza that I remember the most :) "I hugged that pillow and made it wet, what recourse do I have now? I set up the bed for you. I am waiting for you to hold my hip and pull me to your side and give me that tight hug. You forgot to think of me as a result of which I flew all alone. Please lift the veil and look at me.
